Nomination #1: Tom goes above and beyond for all of his patients and staff members. Tom starts his day every morning by going around and checking to make sure that all equipment is pulled and rooms are ready before he even clocks in. Tom hums all day, and it's very quiet when Tom is not scheduled to work and it's missed. Tom is very knowledgeable and a great asset to the OR. He's easy to talk to and very hard-working. Tom makes everyone he meets feel special. I haven't known Tom very long, but he has been very welcoming and a real helping hand in the OR here in Easton.
Nomination #2: This surgical RN has made countless connections with all of the patients that he takes care of. No patient comes back without laughing before surgery. There is never a day where he hasn't uplifted someone. Let it be the staff or patients, he is an all-around loveable guy. Every morning- he is the first to come in and set up. You will find him doing various activities around the OR, going above and beyond on his own will. He is encouraging to new employees and the students. You will never see Tom without a smile on his face, and you will always hear him before you see him with his happy assortment of hums coming down the hall. He is an all-around hard worker and spirit-up lifter, and he deserves this award.
