I came in with my 13-year-old daughter at 4:30 in the morning. My daughter was dealing with the worst headache she's ever had. When we checked in, they called the back to inform the nurse that there was a patient in the waiting room. Let me tell you, when we got to the back and into a room, she spoke, and her concern was immediately on my daughter. Bailey was so sweet and kind, and her voice was very empathic. When it came time to start an IV, my daughter was immediately scared. Bailey knocked it out of the park by comforting her and letting her know that my daughter was going to ok. When Bailey finished setting up the IV and giving my daughter the medications the doctor ordered, my daughter told me, "She's so sweet, momma. I like her very much. I didn't feel as scared when she was starting my IV." Bailey has this touch with her voice that can soothe not only the patient but the parents as well. I left Ochsner main campus ER with my daughter feeling better than when she came in and a nurse who was very attentive to her patient. I think Bailey is a great nurse, and she shines bright! She's left such a huge impression on me and my daughter that we won't ever forget. Bailey, you are the best!!
