Esteban always provides humanized, empathic, and compassionate care to all his patients
I have had the pleasure of being able to work with nurse Esteban for many years. I have to say that this has been extremely pleasant for me. He is very attentive, empathic, and dedicated to his work. His personality helps him to easily win over people, colleagues, friends, and patients. When Esteban visits his patients, they express themselves very well about him as a nurse, they manage to see the extraordinary person he is, that is why I want to share an experience.

I've witnessed the wonderful person and nurse that he is. When a patient was admitted with a diagnosis of terminal cancer, and due to the state of evolution of the disease, we were only able to provide her palliative care. Esteban was always seeking to ensure that she was in the greatest comfort possible. The patient, from the first moment she met the nurse Esteban, was delighted with him, for the way he treated her and the time he dedicated to her care. She commented that he was her star nurse.

Whenever she went to the hospital, she asked him to be her nurse. When she was in her last days of life, she always asked to see him say goodbye because she did not know when it would be the last time that she would see him. The patient and her family appreciated Esteban very much, I will always keep in mind that affection and the extraordinary work he did so that she was better, always dedicating the necessary time to comfort the patient, without caring if he was a little late in some other activities.

Esteban always provides humanized, empathic, and compassionate care to all his patients and achieves an emotional bond with them, regardless of the patient's health status or length of stay. He is always in the best disposition to help others without seeking his own benefit, he supports in what he can, even if it is not within his duties. I dare to say that if there is a nurse within the institution who deserves to be recognized by his colleagues, patients, and family members, it is undoubtedly him.
