Leslie is confident in her work, and we all look up to her and her skills.
Leslie had two great nominations. It was the first nomination below that she received the award for, but we felt it important to include both.
1. Leslie has made our men feel like family at such a devastating time in their life. Our men fully and honestly trust her with their life. She makes their time here worth it with her care. Leslie is confident in her work, and we all look up to her and her skills. Working with the homeless community is never easy, and she takes everything in full force, and it makes us proud to have such a loving, compassionate God-filled Nurse in our presence. Leslie connects with our patients so well that to this day, we have past patients call to check on us and ask Leslie for her advice or continue to tell her thank you or just to tell her they miss her care. Leslie teaches me anything and everything I need to know to better assist our transitional care unit men (patients). Leslie has inspired me so much that I decided to go back to school and become a nurse myself! If it wasn't' for Leslie, we ourselves would not be as prepared for the care we provided to our guests/patients. She also takes the time and encourages our patients to learn care that they may provide for themselves, giving them a sense of independence as they prepare to get back into the "real world."
2. Leslie models the visions of this company in every way she is expected to do so. I have a preference to use Covenant health first every time I need their help. Everyone in all the departments I have used really seems to enjoy their jobs. It means a lot to me that I can trust a person like Leslie, that I always ask for her every time I need care for something that has gone wrong. Leslie comes in the door with a smile and a happy personality, and she cares for her clients with love and kindness every time you see her. She talks with me about getting the right diet, drinking water, taking my medicine the right way, and of course, about preventing falls. Sometimes I wonder how she puts up with me because that is a miracle in my mind. She has the patience of a saint, and the whole family loves her so much. I feel like Covenant health has a great nurse and person that works for them, and she is proud to work for this company. God bless her for caring about me; I think she prays for me every day. And I do need all the help I can get.
