I went to INTEGRIS with some discomfort in my chest. After a series of tests, it was determined I would need a triple bypass. This was performed. The surgery was a success, unfortunately, the surgeon has some trouble finding some veins to use which resulted in 7 different incisions requiring around 140 staples in my legs alone, not counting my chest being split open. After coming to from surgery, I actually felt like I had been hit by a bus and did not want to be bothered by anyone!

That night, Shannon came into my room and introduced herself, and said she would be taking care of me and all my needs. I can honestly say from the time she entered my room she was like a beam of light shining on me. Her caring, infectious attitude made a big difference in my recovery. I was in the hospital for 6 days and every time she entered my room she always had that great caring attitude. She was easy to talk to, but most of all she listened to me and all of my concerns. Very knowledgeable about all the different meds I was taking. Shannon always went above and beyond her duties, changing or straightening my bedding, and constantly readjusting me so I could get comfortable. Anything at any time if I needed something while Shannon was on duty, she did that with that awesome caring attitude. Thank you, Shannon!
