This student has been described by his peers to be kind, dependable, selfless and a bright light to all. He is always willing to go above and beyond for his patients and their families during clinical. During his preceptorship, he would arrive early to read up on his assigned patient, understand the in and outs of his patient’s pathologies, know the MD’s orders, and get to know the other night shift staff. He is innovative and a critical thinker who comes up with solutions for his patients. He truly takes the time to get to know his patients and their families. His drive and dedication to his studies are admirable, but his dedication to patient care is unmatched. He looks forward to continuing his career as a pediatric nurse.
