Mrs. Speece continuously outdoes herself. She is always available to students whether it's during the class day or after. She gives helpful insight into her experiences about what it is actually like being a nurse on a unit. She is honest and straightforward with every student and encourages us to expand our minds and think outside the box. She is patient and always on your side. She comes to school with a smile on her face every day and motivates you to be the best student nurse you are capable of being. I will take her words of wisdom with me throughout my whole nursing career. Mrs. Speece may not notice the impact on us. She gets tearful when she praises you and when she shares a story. I believe Mrs. Speece is a great advocate and a wonderful example of someone who demonstrates excellence in her profession.
