Lindsay is like no other person I know. She has this presence that brings positivity, encouragement, and pure compassion. Her character brings warmth into the room and places our patients at ease. She quickly gains their trust with her openness and conversation. She has this special talent of picking up on someone's emotions. At times, she can see that they may need a laugh or some words of encouragement, or just validation for their feelings. Throughout a busy day, Lindsay will always find time to sit with someone if they need it. This could be a patient, a coworker, or at times a complete stranger. She is a team player and always willing to lend a hand. She never complains and constantly voices her gratitude when helping others. She encompasses the definition of compassion and dedication. BMDA is lucky to have such a wonderful nurse and I am even luckier that I get to work by her side.
