Stephen was compassionate and explained things in detail giving constant words of encouragement. Steven took time to know me as a person not just an assigned room number. He asked questions that led to me telling stories of my hobbies. One was bodybuilding because of the shock I was in after seeing myself finally awake from my COVID journey. After the ventilator and ECMO, it left me very weak and much smaller in size. One day Steven brought me weights which gave me so much happiness and motivation that I was speechless. Since that day I’ve pushed and worked as hard as I could to move forward. There’s so much more but not enough space to share all he did.
