When I decided to have surgery here, I was hopeful she could be my PACU nurse based on the knowledge, skill, and care she showed patients.
I work with this nurse and can attest to her consistently coming to work with a positive attitude, willingness to work, care for patients, and help her co-workers. She comes to help us in Pre-Op regularly, and I have gotten to work alongside her. When I decided to have surgery here, I was hopeful she could be my PACU nurse based on the knowledge, skill, and care she showed patients. I was very nervous about the surgery I had scheduled at my place of work, related to the personal nature of the surgery. I asked what RNs would be working and was hopeful she or a select few would be working and could be my nurse. Not only did she make sure that happened, but she also made it happen despite being the Charge RN for that department, and staffing, and set order of patient assignments usually in PACU, she took care of me herself! I woke up feeling safe, cared for, and knowing no matter how I felt, what I may have said, my privacy would be protected.
