I'm not sure where to begin. I read a quote once by Milton H. Erickson, "What is easiest to see, is often overlooked." I'm more than certain this is not the case but I wanted to be sure that you knew just how absolutely amazing she is. I have no idea how many times I have heard her say to all of us, how can I help you, what do you need, Don't worry I got you. Literally every shift I have worked with her, I hear her say this a million times. I've seen her take on a full patient assignment as charge and still take report for her fellow nurses who are drowning. I have seen her not feeling well, pack up ready to leave because she is tired, sick, or overworked and she'll set everything down two seconds later because she sees her team struggling and she just won't have it. I have seen her cry with patients and laugh with patients and I've seen her uplift and encourage her patients. She has a Servant spirit and it's contagious. Her character and her ability to lead has everyone who works with her want to be better, to work harder, with conviction but not only for our patients but for each other. She changes the dynamics of this unit and her absence is felt. I feel blessed to work with her.
