Anna Kuczek is a true gift of a nurse in every way, her demeanor, her professionalism, her mentorship, and her critical thinking. As both a staff nurse and Clinical Instructor for the 23rd floor, Anna role models professionalism in all she does. It is an absolute joy to work with Anna. We often work together in the BLS Instructor capacity. This was a role Anna originally elected to for PNAP and she has continued to embrace the role and grow in it by teaching not only BLS renewals but also the Heartsaver Courses. Anna is held in the highest regard by other BLS Instructors and onboards new Instructors.

I have respected and admired Anna since when we first began working together in 2017, and my admiration for her clinical judgment and care of patients continues to grow. It seems I am learning from her constantly! Working on the night shift, Anna is recognized as a Charge Nurse and she seeks to consistently move the unit forward in positive ways. She recently pioneered initiatives to increase Environment of Care surveillance on the floor. Thank you, Anna, for your continued inspiration to the 23rd-floor nurses and PCTs!

Anna is an extremely skilled nurse clinically and professionally. She is a mentor to almost every new nurse that comes through the doors. She has personally helped me overcome many fears, including my first port a cath access and my first time suctioning a trach. Her teaching methods instill confidence in new staff on the unit. She ensures that nurses and PCTs achieve comfortability in skills and she is a fantastic CI on 23.

Working with her is always a comfort as you know that she will jump in any situation, emergency, or complex scenario. Her clinical knowledge and expertise are top-notch and she always prioritizes patient safety. She is a delight to be around and she always exudes professionalism.
