When you think of a leader, you think of a person who is calm in an emergency, frequently going above and beyond, a person you can go to for guidance and advice, a person who may not have all the answers but will do his best to try and find it, a person who leads by example, etc. Robert Etzkorn is all of those things and much more! Robert is an amazing nurse, nursing supervisor, colleague, and leader. He is always willing to help when it is busy, it could be moving patients, doing admissions, helping manage the flow to improve patient care, being calm in the storm of an emergency, a resource for new graduates, orientees, or seasoned nurses. We all know that Robert is one we can go to. Whether he is working as a supervisor or a staff nurse, Robert goes above and beyond for the patients, his coworkers, and St. Mary’s as a whole.
