I had a very difficult first 2 days with the pain that I was in. Allison kept me comfortable and smiling, which was a difficult feat with the amount of pain that I was in. I never once had to track her down for my medication. My days were probably harder than my nights. She made it seem like the opposite. Her bedside manner was some of the best that I had the pleasure of receiving. If there were more nurses like Allison Voelker, our healthcare system would be hands down the best in the world.
