Mandy was caring for a patient in the ICU Unit at WMC. Mandy was nominated by this patient's family. In their nomination for Mandy, the family spoke of Mandy's, compassion and knowledge in her field. The family stated, "Mandy took care of our mom just like this was her mom.” The family stated that “Mandy not only took care of their mother, but Mandy also met the needs of the family as well." Mandy made sure the family was informed about the plan of care at all times. Mandy took this tragic experience and made it into something the family will never forget.
