Jasmine was nominated by the CPCU UPC. They wrote that Jasmine is a kind and compassionate nurse. Jasmine treats all she meets with kindness and respect. Jasmine is always smiling and asking everyone how they are doing. She is a nurse who will run down to Starbucks to get her patient a coffee if it will make them feel better. She is the kind of person who will reach out to her coworkers if she sees them struggling. Jasmine is a compassionate nurse and role model for new nurses to look up to. Jasmine recently had a patient with a language barrier whose language she spoke. The patient needed to be transferred next door to 4 South to make room for cardiac patients on our unit. Jasmine gave a report to her colleague "N," who had been pulled to 4 South that day. Later, after the transfer, Jasmine heard the CPR call overhead. It was her patient on 4 South. Jasmine sprinted to 4 South to assist "N" and communicate, if possible, with the patient. Jasmine remained on 4 South until the patient was stable enough to move to ICU. The patient was no longer in her care, but she felt she could help, and that is all that mattered to her. She did help save the patient's life while supporting her friend and coworker. Jasmine is all heart. She is one of the many wonderful people working on CPCU. Jasmine is loved by all her coworkers for her spirit and heart. CPCU is blessed to have her.
