Nicandro Jalbuena is such a special human with the most kind, calming, caring energy and personality. While he was on shift, my baby was so calm and felt so relaxed. Nicandro made me feel seen as a hurting mama who desperately wants her baby in her arms. He involved me in a diaper change and even let me rub my colostrum-covered swab on the baby’s lips and tongue. That was so special to me and truly cheered me up. I haven’t even held my baby yet, but those small acts made me feel like an involved, active, and thankful mommy. The best part was when Nicandro made a custom-fitted pacifier that he cut to fit around the tubes, so my baby felt soothed. My son loved it! This thoughtful act brought happy tears of joy to my eyes and for the first time during this painful experience, I could breathe. Thank you Nicandro for your love and positive vibes.
