It would be impossible to sum up the reasons Maegan deserves the DAISY Award in one situation or just a few words, but I will try. Maegan does nursing like it is truly her calling. The kindness with which Maegan treats her patients is so genuine and is truly part of her core. I have the privilege of seeing Maegan in action from a personal viewpoint as well as a professional one. Maegan has grown in her skills as she has matured in her career. Her skills are great as a bedside nurse as well as a charge nurse. It is her core values that are so natural to her that set her apart. She is kind and genuine, confident but not cocky and smart, but knows when she needs help. I have the fondest memories of when Maegan was caring for my family members. I breathed easily every time I walked into the room and saw Maegan. She is one of the kindest and caring nurses I have ever seen.
