My nurse Maria has been extremely compassionate and sympathetic towards my current situation, which has been very helpful and has brought me a lot of hope and motivation. She has engaged in several positive conversations with me that have also been inspirational. She pushes me to do my best and reach my full potential, which according to her, is a lot. Maria helps me with everything possible, no matter how big or small. She’s always so kind, respectful, caring, and genuine, even on her toughest and busiest days. She never displays any frustration or anger. She troops on through it with a smile and remains calm and pleasant for her patients. She’s always on time with my medication schedule and attends to all of my needs in a timely manner. Maria goes above and beyond to always ensure that I’m comfortable. I’m currently going through one of, if not the toughest, times of my 23 years on earth. I’m battling substance abuse disorder in addition to trying to fight off a major infection that went as deep as my bone in my arm, plus a large open wound of missing skin. Due to all of this, most days, I generally feel very depressed and hopeless, but it’s Maria and others like her that are helping me to get through this. I can’t thank Maria enough or express my gratitude for all of her hard work, respect, sympathy, empathy, encouragement, positive vibes, and the extraordinary care that she provides. Thank you, Maria, for always going above and beyond, and I thank you for not only being such a great nurse but for being MY great nurse!! I appreciate you so much!!
