I can not even begin to put into words the way this nurse impacted both my dad and me during his stay. I am 1,500 miles away from my dad in Arkansas. Not only did she treat him like he was her own dad, but she also went so above and beyond to be there for me through this time. She was never short with me on the phone like other doctors/nurses and stayed on the phone with me while I cried my eyes out. My Dementia/Covid dad, who can barely recall anything, made it a point to recognize her *by name* on the phone with me today when, at some points, he didn’t even know his own name. The fact that he made it a point to mention her and her care to me on the phone speaks volumes. I’m crying typing this. Please recognize her, she is an amazing nurse, and I appreciate her beyond words, being there for my dad like she has been when I can’t be.
