Jenn is not only an exceptional nurse, but the type of worker every company, industry, and department should model their employees after. During our very, VERY, long labor - we were under the care of another nurse. After a check, I was told I was still only one centimeter dilated. Our nurse told us to keep working through and she would check on us later. Then the amazing, miraculous Jenn walked in, just to drop something off. She quickly noticed my obvious pain, but then realized it was a pain level not standard for someone only one centimeter dilated. She decided to stay and help me find a way to cope. For an hour and a half she never left my side, trying technique after technique for relief. Eventually, she did another check and it turns out I was 8 centimeters dilated! She ran and got the person to do the epidural, and I had an incredibly manageable delivery. Guess who was there the entire time? Jenn.

We became a priority to Jenn, and I felt blessed and safer for it. It's clear to us for several reasons that Jenn is a DAISY Nurse. One - she stepped in and helped when I was not her patient or responsibility. Two - she noticed what others did not, and worked through each option to find the best outcome. Three - in a stressful situation she was kind, compassionate, and fast working. Four - she is the definition of what a nurse should and strive to be each and every day. Five - I know my baby's arrival was safer because Jenn was there watching and assisting.

My birthing experience was better because of Jenn. This hospital is better because of Jenn. The medical industry is better because of Jenn.
