I do not know what I would have done without Chris as my nurse. He was very on top of it throughout my stay to resolve my emergent problem. I was in extreme pain, and he used all resources possible to ease my pain problem. I had a blocked urethra from a blood clot and was unable to go to the bathroom. He was extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done for me. When a problem arose with my treatment, he quickly reached out to his nurse colleagues for their feedback and you could tell by their willingness to help, how he helps them as a team player.

Throughout my entire stay in the emergency department, he was so compassionate and kept me informed every step of the way about my plan of care. When I mentioned to other nurses that he was a “lifesaver,” they agreed and said he is an impressive nurse. I ended up staying at MVH for three days and I had many outstanding nurses, but Chris stood as one of the tops from the minute I arrived in the emergency department.
