We had a young man here for a tilt table test. He had previously canceled his test the week before because he was scared of passing out. His mom called the day before the test to talk with staff about his test. She told Kelly how anxious he was about his test, but his doctor really wanted him to have the test done. Kelly took the time to talk with his mom and have her find her when he got here the next day for his test. The next day when they arrived, he was very nervous. He came back into the room for his test, we found Kelly, and she came in and talked with him. We got his IV started. Kelly stayed in the room during the whole test and kept him calm so he could finish the test. He was able to complete the test, and I know I wouldn’t have been able to complete the test without Kelly there to help us. Thanks to Kelly’s great teamwork, we were able to complete the test, so the doctor got the information he needed for the patient.
