You could tell she genuinely cared for my grandma's dignity, our breaking hearts, and provided quality, clinically sound nursing care on top of it all.
Ari was the most compassionate, kind, patient nurse for my grandmother who was under her care through her end of life (After a massive stroke). She took time to explain every single step, cared for our family, and was gentle and attentive to my grandma.

Ari allowed us, as a family, to have details repeated, several times, as we absorbed our sweet mom/grandma's diagnosis and prognosis. She shared information about the imaging scans completed, relayed details from the providers, and coordinated contact with palliative care, as well. She respected every wish, offered options, and included all of our family in the discussions.

Ari advocated for what was most important to our family - the opportunity for us to be together, to grieve without pressures or timeline, and to feel genuinely cared for as an entire unit. She coordinated with the facility leadership to allow exceptions (safely within covid guidelines) for us to spend as much time with gram as possible (my aunt was allowed to spend the night, which was such a sweet, important time). You could tell she genuinely cared for my grandma's dignity, our breaking hearts, and provided quality, clinically sound nursing care on top of it all.

Ari showed what truly means to care for your patients, and their families, and guiding others through life's most tender moments. You could simply tell she loves her job, has a heart for patient care, and made this journey a little easier for us.
