This nurse goes above and beyond every day. To work a day with her, you would be amazed. She works long hours to ensure her patients get what they need- supplies, home health care, personal aids- often even continuing to follow up on these needs for quite some time after patients are discharged. She is not only compassionate to patients but also a shoulder to lean on for many of their families. She takes time to listen to patients and families in distress and treats them like they are her own family. Staff look up to her and often ask her advice. She always makes time for others.
