She is so compassionate that her voice even calms G when she comes into the room. She is an Angel sent to us in our time of need.
My grandson nearly drowned and she has treated him as if he was a perfect human being. He has brain damage and she talks and sings to him. Makes sure he has all his meds on time and is clean, so clean. She always tells him what she is doing and lets him know her every move. G is relaxed when she is in the room and he stays nice and calm. She also made it possible for my daughter to hold G in her arms since she was not able to until his new trach healed. She always has a smile and takes her work seriously.

It's with great pleasure that I write to you today to nominate Tarsha Cooks for the DAISY Award. Not only does she go above and beyond for the children but their families also. When the doctors made rounds and with all the information thrown at us. She would come in and walk us through everything to help us better understand. My nephew would do so many things and show us signs when she was on shift and assigned to him. My nephew absolutely loved her. We believe God sent her to our family for our new path. Tarsha Cooks is hundred percent a DAISY Nurse. She has a beautiful heart for everyone. God bless her. Thank you.

Tarsha Cooks is the best nurse I have ever met. I could not ask God for a better nurse for my nephew. She “went the extra mile in every step of his care.” She did little things for him to be comfortable and happy. She was always kind and upbeat when she came into the room and had great positive vibes.

Tarsha has gone the extra mile for my son, she believes in him. She is the only nurse that stays in the room until he is fully settled. Not only is she good to my son, but she is also good to the whole family. Tarsha helps me understand what the doctors are talking about and uplifts my spirit when I need it most. She is the most loving nurse and I will be forever grateful to have met her.
