Our twins have been in the NICU for 56 days and Jennifer has made every day she has our boys enjoyable. Which is not a word I thought I would use to describe our babies in the NICU. When our twins came at 28 weeks to say we weren’t prepared is an understatement. The NICU was something we didn’t know anything about and still don’t know what to expect on a day to day basis. Jennifer has changed all of that. Our boys have had Jennifer as their nurse since their first week in this world and she has been fighting for them ever since. She advocates for them, treats them as if they are her own, goes above and beyond for them, and does it all with a smile. Her positive attitude is contagious, her dedication to their care is astounding, and we don’t know what we would do without her. Knowing that Jennifer has our boys helps this mom and dad rest easy in an extremely uneasy situation. Without her and her knowledge they would not be where they are today.
