I would like to thank you for the excellent nursing care that my husband has been receiving. I would especially like to thank you for his nurse. She has been so patient, kind, and has gone above and beyond to make my husband comfortable. My husband was there for 3 days and did not get to wash up. He felt very uneasy and uncomfortable. She came in and gave him a bed bath. I understand how busy the dayshift can be and she took her time to care for him. He felt so relieved and more at ease afterward. She is very thorough in explaining the medications and what to expect as a patient. This is my husband’s first time being hospitalized as a patient. He has been very anxious and unsure of what to expect. My husband has a huge smile on his face every day that she comes in to check on him. She is also very encouraging and lets him know how much progress he is making.

As a nurse and former Gwinnett Medical Center employee, I am so impressed and relieved knowing that my husband is in good hands. It is very difficult to not be at my husband’s bedside and watch his care handled by phone. However, this nurse has given me a huge relief and I am able to breathe a lot better when she is on duty. Please let her know that her work is appreciated and valued. She is a hero in my book. My God continue to bless her and all the nursing staff.
