Dr. McCall has been incredibly supportive throughout the ENP program. He facilitates an interactive learning environment and is fair and approachable. His knowledge and experience are great assets for the program. Dr. McCall is among the kindest, most thoughtful professors I have encountered both in my undergraduate and graduate studies. He is flexible with scheduling and is responsive to e-mails over the most trivial and serious of matters. In personal strife, he is a shoulder to lean on and well directs you to appropriate resources.

Based on research and his actions throughout our graduate program, it is obvious that he is as invested in student's professional and personal growth. He is able to maintain a sense of humor all while conveying valuable information during lectures and capturing the attention of the class. It is obvious that his passion for learning, emergency nursing, and student/nurse wellness is sincere and his empathy is clear in every encounter.

Dr. McCall is a nurse, professor, and mentor that I hope to model myself after and one day be. I am not alone; every time we have a group session with Dr. McCall, there is a collective sigh of relief that we have such a wonderful facilitator. He is awesome and deserves recognition!
