Julie goes above and beyond for every patient on 4C. If a patient needs durable medical equipment she checks every place in town, when patient families need to process or help navigating discharge plans, she is happy to discuss with them. She makes sure the discharge plan is as smooth as possible and tries to connect with each family and patient. She makes a huge difference in the Mercy experience. Julie makes sure to explain everything to the patient to ease their fears and make transitions less stressful.

She is the first one in and the last one out for 18+ years. The nursing staff can go to Julie for help and guidance. She is always available and happy to help, she is full of information and resources. Providers go to Julie daily for guidance as well, she has developed very strong working relationships with Steindler and Mercy providers, she is the "go-to-gal" for everything discharge. She helped providers navigate Allscripts, she was on the front lines every day coming in early to make sure she was available for providers should they need her. She works selflessly daily, making sure she leaves the hospital, each day, better than how she found it.
