During one of the most difficult times in our lives, Emily was our saving grace. After delivering our baby girl at 33 weeks, Emily was the nurse who took care of our baby girl C. She not only took care of C; she took care of us. She made us feel safe and welcomed and she made sure all our questions were answered in the most loving way possible. She treated us like family, and she loved C from the start. It takes a special person to care for premies and if we didn’t have Emily, I’m not sure our experience would have felt as easy as she made it on us. We knew C was in the best hands with all the NICU nurses at Lankanau but there was just something so special and a true connection with Emily that we will forever be grateful for and we feel she deserves recognition for her outstanding demeanor and the way she took care of our C.
