I work in Case Management on the floor as the Social Worker. I work closely with Joe and see how hard he works during his shifts. Joe is always in a good mood no matter how demanding the job can get. He has never let the strain of the pandemic alter how he treats others and his patients. He is so caring and compassionate with his patients. Constantly giving updates and providing support for families. I have even seen him go down to Starbucks to get a patient coffee. I can tell he is making a difference with his patients and families. He is just so great to work with. There have been several occasions that Joe has provided lunch for our whole floor. He is great for morale. University should be very pleased to have a nurse like Joe on their staff.
