I was admitted to UH for an emergency cesarean. It was 11 pm when I was rolled to my room and Melissa was preparing for my arrival. I had so many questions and was a nervous wreck. She was so patient with my husband and me. Melissa answered all questions. She made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. She reassured us that our baby was just fine and that I was on the mend to recovering.

I looked forward to 7 pm to see my nightly nurse, Melissa. She went about and beyond to comfort me. This showed teamwork and dedication to the hospital to make the situation better for all including myself. Melissa is a cheerful and hardworking soul that is valued by a patient such as myself. I will never forget Melissa and the mental stress she took off my family during a very scary time for us. Melissa Broadwater is the absolute BEST!!!
