Anneke recognized us and came over to speak to my daughter and told her she hoped she felt better soon.
My daughter came through the ER and was very ill with a very high fever and other symptoms; we waited 3 hours to be seen. Anneke was so kind and compassionate to my daughter and put her at ease. We spent about 9 hours total in the ER, and she was so attentive even given the chaos that was going on with critical patients that evening. We returned to the ER days later in the early morning and while waiting in the waiting room, Anneke was walking out after her shift and recognized us and came over to speak to my daughter and told her she hoped she felt better soon. The fact she remembered her and took the time to stop and speak to her that day speaks volumes about her compassion for her patients. What a wonderful asset she is to this hospital!
