She always speaks with kindness and respect and yet also is a fierce advocate for her patient's needs.
Beth has such compassion! She is dedicated to her patients and she listens to patients with an open mind and always takes their needs and desires into consideration. She has a kind voice and a calm demeanor which is especially important during difficult conversations. Beth is open and honest with staff, providers, and patients. She does not make promises to patients that she cannot fulfill. She takes the time to discuss plans with family and patients and also holds nursing and physicians accountable for providing the highest level of care to ensure a safe and timely discharge, whether in a day, a week, or longer.

Beth works closely with a multitude of inpatient services as well as outpatient providers, agencies, and companies. She always speaks with kindness and respect and yet also is a fierce advocate for her patient's needs. Beth always takes into account patients’ beliefs and values when discussing their discharge plans. Whether it be home with hospice, home with family care and medical equipment, or to a skilled nursing facility. Beth ensures that plans are aligned with what the patient and family feels are in their best interest.

The following is a direct copy of an email we received from a provider. This email speaks very clearly about Beth's mission. "Currently I am on Merritt 3, and I share many patients with Beth Boudreau. I just wanted to reach out to you to tell you that Beth's hard work this week has been invaluable. I have a very complex patient panel that has required her to go above and beyond in coordinating with nursing staff, home health agencies, patient family members, and the patients themselves to safely discharge them home. I know this is in her job description, but I must say she does it at an extremely high level of competency and composure. She has unfortunately had some nastiness come her way from patients and their families this week, but she's always kept her poise and done what's best for her patients. Working with Care Managers like Beth makes our job so much easier and beyond everything else, ensures our patients get the best of care. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate her."
