After my recent stay at Seattle VA 5EAST, I feel everybody who cared for me deserves this award. The level of care and compassion was exemplary. But for me, Jay especially stood out for a few reasons. He was very responsive to my needs and requests. He was very knowledgeable and informative in answering all my questions and concerns. And perhaps most of all, his positivity and cheerful demeanor made me feel like I was being cared for by someone very capable and invested in my well-being. I am sure his attitude goes a long way toward helping patients who are going through a difficult time. He is truly a credit to his profession and to the VA.
