I was having blood drawn and had some serious questions and fears about blood sugar and diabetes. Stephan came at the request of the blood drawing nurse. I have strong stress, anxiety, and fears about my health. Stephan kindly reviewed my situation, explained fully his understanding of my concerns, and explained in detail why my fears were without basis, and took the time to make suggestions. His comments and suggestions helped alleviate my fears.

Today, during my VA doc visit, I saw him again. He stopped and checked on me. His knowledge and concern were offered with compassion. His help was offered out of the goodness of his heart. He was not my nurse. He was life-changing for me. I cannot thank him enough for removing me from that place of worry, anxiety, and fear and giving me my life back. This may seem a simple story but it essentially says Stephan saved my life.
