Our daughter has been a patient in NICU for almost 2 months now, having been born prematurely. Our journey has been a roller-coaster ride. There are some days that are good and some that are bad. When our daughter had to go through a heart procedure for her PDA, Emily was the one who was there to support us and make sure that we were OK; always checking up on us.

Even when she isn’t assigned to our daughter, she always comes by to check on how is she doing and what progress she is making. She explains the different equipment and processes that they do for our daughter, so she can grow and get stronger. Emily treats us like family and whenever we have a question she always goes above and beyond to get the answer. She's the one who let me hold my baby for the first time ever.

My husband and I always look for Emily if she's around because we do really love to see her. She is the most hardworking nurse we know. We have experienced it all so we know how hard Emily works. She treats the babies as her own, not just as her patients. Emily is really a devoted nurse who is willing to go above and beyond to do her call of duty. We are forever grateful that she is one of our daughter’s nurses. Emily, keep being an amazing nurse. We love you and we thank you for taking such good care of our daughter.
