Jennifer is AMAZING, and was by far the person I will definitely remember. My child was admitted into the hospital. This was completely unexpected, and I was very stressed after being in the ER. She was the exact amount of compassionate, knowledgeable, caring, and kind that we needed. She also was proactive and not reactive, and not afraid to ask questions of other staff members and get my child to the right help that was needed if it was something outside her realm. For example, my child had trouble with IV flowing the entire time we were in the ER, and it wasn't fixed properly. When she came in, I didn't have to say anything, she immediately noticed the problem and worked to fix it, what she couldn’t do she requested assistance, in the end, she had the IV team come to get the IV in appropriately.

She also talked to me, always explained what she was doing, and didn't ignore me, or my questions. When she asked me how I was doing, and did we need anything, I could tell she wasn't just doing her job, but she really cared. I felt so comfortable with my child in her care and when she came back the next night, I was so HAPPY. I really believe she is a true DAISY Nurse. Continue to keep up all your compassion, it really makes a difference, and leaves a strong impression on each person you interact with! We will miss you.
