Julija exemplifies the excellence of her profession with her extraordinary, sincere, compassionate, and caring personality as well as her communication skills to ask what our needs are. She has a smile and laughter that shines through her mask. I used to put on my resumes that I have excellent people skills and that is so very true about Julija. Of all my wonderful nurses, she is the only one who had a constant presence in my room while I’m sure doing the same for her other patients.

This has not been a good 2 past years due to COVID but Julija is still full of her joy, love, care, compassion, and that joyous personality. The day of my surgery she said, “I’ll be here when you’re back,” but it ran late. She went out of her way to call the recovery room when she clocked out to ask me how I was feeling. This was an hour after her shift ended.
