Minerva came in all hours of her shift offering to help feed him.
Two days after my son was born he got admitted into the NICU. He lost over 10% of his birth weight and was having a rough time. The NICU nurse, Minerva, was very helpful and supportive. The second she walked into my son’s hospital room she asked me what my goals for him are. I said to get his weight up and to keep him as comfortable as we can. Minerva came in all hours of her shift offering to help feed him. She was very supportive to help me breast feed as well. That was very important to me.

This is my first baby. Minerva taught me so many things. She taught me how to help feed him more, ways to not use formula, how to burp him, different ways to comfort him. I will never forget this nurse or my experience here. She made my son’s stay as pleasant as possible and mine as well. I’ve never met a nurse who is so kind, caring, compassionate, and devoted to her job. I will always feel comfortable bringing my son back to this hospital because of her. This hospital is extremely blessed to have such an amazing worker. I was so afraid of coming into the NICU. She made us both as comfortable as possible. Thank you girl. God bless you and I will always remember and appreciate you.
