Knowing Carol is here with our baby N has truly made the NICU experience so much easier. My husband and I were both so unsure and scared about our situation when our baby boy was born a few weeks early due to our differing blood types and antibodies being present in my blood work. Not being able to hold our baby right after he was born and watching the nurses take him away to the NICU was emotional and not something I wish for any parent to have to go through. While all of the nurses at Beaumont have been truly outstanding , kind, and compassionate, Carol somehow goes above and beyond that; she has a special way of comforting and putting our worried minds at ease knowing she is here and is so great at explaining and demonstrating each and everything that we need to know down to how to bathe him, feed him (she even helped me figure out breastfeeding with him when we were having a difficult time) change him and all around be great parents. She just has a way that is unique and special and so appreciated by myself and my husband. She has truly made this experience so much easier on our mind and soul. Any parent or child who is lucky enough to score her as their nurse would say the same. I’m sure of it!
