Barb went and got a wheelchair and took me to the emergency department. She said “we would be getting ahead of things” while T had his treatment.
I and my family are writing this letter to give recognition to the nurses in the Cancer Center. What a wonderful group of people you all are! We would like to especially recognize Barbara Fleming for the special attention you gave me. I had brought my husband T in for treatment and Barb asked me if I wasn’t feeling well. She made me promise her that before we left the hospital I would be checked out. I told her that I would.
Then we went upstairs to the third floor for T’s treatment, and they asked me if I was not feeling well. She went and got a wheelchair and took me to the emergency department. She said “we would be getting ahead of things” while T had his treatment. Needless to say, I had a stroke and didn't know it but by the “Grace of God” things worked out. I spent four days in the hospital and five days in rehab. I am coming along very well.
Thank God for Barb and the staff. We feel they were my “Guardian Angels” that day. Please show them recognition for their wonderful attention. Praise to all who took care of me. I am grateful to be able to still get around and spend time with my family. Especially our eight great-grandchildren and to see them grow. God bless to all.
