Our entire family was very touched by Miranda’s level of caring and thoughtfulness.
My mother-in-law has been in and out of the ICU a couple of times since Feb 2022. Both times one of her nurses was Miranda. Miranda was her favorite nurse of all. My mother-in-law had a birthday while she was in the hospital and Miranda was sweet enough to bring her a favorite drink, a teddy bear, and a balloon. Our entire family was very touched by Miranda’s level of caring and thoughtfulness. She was excellent with my MIL’s care. She was always giving us updates and taking the time to explain things to us. In addition to caring for my MIL, Miranda dealt with our family with the utmost compassion and respect. On any given day there may have been up to ten of us cycling in and out to visit.
My MIL passed this morning at hospice. And on the dry-erase board was a message from Miranda. She had taken time out of her day at some point to visit my MIL even though she would not have recognized her. That action and sentiment meant the world to my family. Miranda is well deserving of any award out there.
