Monique goes out of her way to make her patients feel comfortable. Monique does things because she cares. She genuinely wants to make a difference in her patients' lives. I was feeling overwhelmed heading into my capstone experience, but Monique was patient, understanding, and taught me a lot about myself, and helped me gain confidence. I was amazed at her capacity to deliver such high-quality care for her patients and still take the time to answer my questions. We would be crazy busy with patients and work, but she would always manage to make time for me. She made me feel comfortable, never made me feel insecure or feel like I was an idiot, and was always willing to teach. She will run across the unit and help anyone who needs it, is very knowledgeable, and ALWAYS has a positive attitude. She has been a great role model for me and is the type of nurse I would like to be.
