Pauline was exceptional at making my anxious husband feel safe and comfortable under her attentive care. She was his main nurse for his stay in the ICU while connected to a respirator due to a sudden cardiac/pulmonary event. She was always so thorough in everything she did, despite her many responsibilities to the other patients on her caseload each shift. We are so very pleased to recognize her for her exceptional care giving and compassion. I am forever grateful to her for making him feel heard and cared for in the full capacity she gave to him. She is a shining example of what good nursing should be, and she is a valuable asset to this Kaiser Baldwin Park facility. My husband commends her always sunny, positive outlook while working her duties. He felt very uplifted and encouraged by her attitude, which raised his own spirts greatly. Thank you, Nurse Pauline!
