Where do we begin…Christine was charged with scheduling the appointments for our COVID vaccination pods. Her role evolved into not only scheduling the appointments but also organizing, vaccinating, and inputting the information into the NYISS database. She worked endlessly to accomplish the task of not only vaccinating our staff but also our community. She was instrumental in making our vaccination program successful. She created QR Codes and a sign-up genius for staff to easily schedule their vaccination appointments. She was present at every single vaccination pod.

On top of her vaccination efforts she remained an active member of SCH Leadership Rounds, iPearl Rounding, is a HANYS certified Safety Coach Trainer, while also being a tracer team member for Joint Commission Preparedness- all to continue to foster a collaborative relationship with staff to better support the patients at St. Charles.

In addition to all of this, she even accepted a capstone student. Christine is an expert in her field. She is able to answer any EPIC questions presented to her. She will even send you the “Tips and Tricks” cheat sheet specific to your questions along with a comprehensive explanation.

Recently, she has had active roles in rolling out the Spectra-Link phones, Impravata, and the tissue analytics application. Christine demonstrates patience when teaching the staff which makes staff feel comfortable asking her questions. Christine always has a smile and a kind word to say. Her general cheer is infectious to those around her. She is the first one to celebrate her coworker’s accomplishments, special occasions, and birthdays. No matter how busy her schedule is she makes time for everyone. Her beam of sunshine has been a wonderful addition to our nursing administration team.
