Kelly is an exceptional Nurse Manager. She goes out of her way to ensure that everything is taken care of on the unit. She goes above and beyond in all aspects of her job. I never have to worry about issues being resolved. She is always steps ahead when I ask her about any situation or aspect of her job. Recently Kelly was able to speak to a patient who needed critical labs that he chronically refused. She was able to educate the patient about the importance of why he needed the lab work done. Due to Kelly’s excellent rapport, a restraint was avoided. This is just one of the many examples of Kelly’s excellent teamwork skills. Kelly has an extraordinary rapport with all the patients and staff members that she works with. She has also trained her nursing staff exceptionally well. Kelly also always has a positive attitude regardless of the situation at hand.
