My father was a patient on the 4NT. I had a fear of my father not being cared for in the hospital, this fear was immediately alleviated when I met our nurse Brittany. Her professionalism, kindness, and calm manner were truly appreciated. She sat down and listened to all our questions and concerns. She answered questions with honesty and directness. If she didn’t know the answer to one of our questions, she would go get the answers for us. She made sure that my mother and myself understood the seriousness of my father’s illness. She went the extra mile to share info relating to the issues he was dealing with so his future care and needs would be better understood. I know that we were not her only patients during his stay, but she made us feel like we were her priority and that my father mattered to her. She gave me confidence in our community hospital Baptist health Hardin. Our family greatly appreciates the kindness she showed to our family.
