My sister came to the hospital in June Swollen to the point in which she could barely walk, had shortness of breath, blood pressure 222/100 (something very high) point of heart attack, stroke, etc. Once my sister arrived on the floor, the care became impeccable (from day one). She treated my sister as if it was her own family, being sensitive to her pain, needs, and tone when speaking, assuring she was also sensitive to her concerns and family concerns. The teamwork displayed between her, and another nurse was simply outstanding assisting one another as they made sure my sister was comfortable. Holding pressure for 45 minutes (yes, I timed it) the cleaning thoroughly, monitoring my sister seeing that she was having a rough day. When my sister began dialysis the dialysis nurse was afraid to clean the catheter. Our faithful nurse came in like a champ, not only did she clean it, but she also used it as a teachable moment (with permission) to the new staff. She takes every measure to assure the patient is receiving the best care. She is definitely an asset to Aurora Health Care.
